This was a really fun but costly “make-work” project that enabled me to really focus on camera placement and movement. It’s also an omen, as I would end up taking a hammer to my sickly iPhone after Apple forced its updated operating system upon unwitting customers and rendered the previously-beloved device useless.
But it’s not about that. It’s about our culture’s fixation on technology and how we mask and hide our voices behind flat texts that contain no emotion.
Thanks to Jodi for letting me spill a lot of coffee on his kitchen floor to get the shot right. (A LOT of coffee!)
